Soumyadutta Basak
Jr. Bioinformatician
Soumyadutta Basak has joined Rhenix Life Sciences as a Junior Bioinformatician. Her primary responsibility involves identifying and implementing bioinformatics pipelines tailored to project specifications. She is currently working on a project focused on neo-antigen peptides, employing molecular docking techniques to investigate their binding interactions with specific receptor proteins for potential applications in cancer immunotherapy.
She holds a master’s degree in bioinformatics from Chandigarh University and before that, she earned a B.Sc. in Genetics from Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology. Soumyadutta has gained valuable experience through dissertation training and internships at institutions such as the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Hyderabad, and Bionome.
Her goal is to continually acquire new skills and apply them to impactful projects within the realm of bioinformatics.
