She is a Ph.D. Biotechnology and a Certified Medical Writer with several publications in International Journals. She has completed the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) course under the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). She has worked at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, as a Research Associate, at the Tea Research Association, Tocklai, Jorhat, and at the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) Dibrugarh as a Senior Research Fellow.
